Set on the banks of the River Cam, we’re delighted to have worked on another Mitchells & Butlers refurbishment project, this time for The Plough in Cambridge. Drawing inspiration from the pub’s picturesque riverside setting, rich history and agricultural heritage, the new interior scheme combines contemporary style with subtle references to the surrounding landscape.
Working in collaboration with interior designers, our Soft Furnishings team supplied bespoke curtains and blinds that bring the refreshed scheme together. Linear patterns, layered textures, and carefully chosen fabrics create a warm and inviting space, while the earthy colour palette reflects the tones of turned soil, ploughed fields, and the natural riverside environment.
Our made-to-measure curtains soften and frame the interiors, while bespoke blinds provide both style and practicality. Together, these tailored soft furnishings help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, reflecting The Plough’s rich history and bringing the colours and textures of the surrounding landscape indoors.
